Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy premium tastings at three of Waiheke’s leading vineyards while your knowledgeable local guide shares stories about the island, its people, winemaking history and distinctive terroir.
Travel through rolling vineyards, olive groves, beautiful beaches and coastal landscapes before stopping for lunch at Batch Winery, Waiheke’s highest vineyard. Here, you’ll have time to choose from the seasonal à la carte menu and enjoy the spectacular 360-degree views at your own pace.

ITINERARY
10:00 AM – Depart Auckland
Take the Fullers360 ferry from Downtown Auckland to Waiheke Island. Alternatively, guests can travel on the 10:15 am Island Direct ferry. Ferry tickets are not included and must be purchased separately.
10:40 AM – Meet Your Guide
Meet your Waiheke Wine Tours guide at Matiatia Ferry Terminal and begin your journey through the island.
11:00 AM – Cable Bay Vineyards
Begin with a premium guided wine tasting at Cable Bay Vineyards, enjoying elegant wines alongside beautiful views across the Hauraki Gulf towards Auckland.
12:00 PM – Batch Winery & Lunch
Travel to Batch Winery, Waiheke’s highest vineyard, for a relaxed lunch stop surrounded by spectacular panoramic views.
Choose your meal from the seasonal à la carte menu and enjoy lunch at your own pace. Lunch and beverages are at your own cost.
2:00 PM – Stonyridge Vineyard
Continue to iconic Stonyridge Vineyard for your next premium wine tasting, surrounded by vines and olive trees in its distinctive Mediterranean-inspired setting.
3:00 PM – Mudbrick Vineyard
Finish your wine journey at Mudbrick Vineyard with a premium tasting and breathtaking views across the Waitematā Harbour towards Auckland City.
4:00 PM – Tour Concludes
Return to Matiatia Ferry Terminal for your journey back to Auckland, or choose to stay on Waiheke and spend some time exploring Oneroa Village at your leisure.

How long is the Waiheke Island Scenic Wine Tour?
The tour is approximately 5 hours, beginning when you meet your guide at Matiatia Ferry Terminal at 10:40 am and concluding at approximately 4:00 pm.
Which ferry should I take to Waiheke Island?
You can take either the 10:00 am Fullers360 ferry or the 10:15 am Island Direct ferry from Downtown Auckland. We recommend booking your ferry in advance where possible, particularly during weekends and the busy summer season.
Ferry tickets are not included in the tour price and must be purchased separately.
Is lunch included?
No. We stop at Batch Winery for lunch, where you can choose from their seasonal à la carte menu and enjoy lunch at your own pace. Lunch and beverages are paid directly to the venue.
Are the wine tastings included?
Yes. Premium wine tastings at three Waiheke vineyards are included in your tour price.
Can you pick me up if I’m staying on Waiheke Island?
Yes. If you’re already staying on Waiheke, we can arrange collection from a convenient bus stop along our main tour route. Your exact pick-up location and time will be confirmed after booking.
Can children or guests under 18 join the tour?

Can I book the shared tour for a group of six or more?
Groups of six or more are required to book a private Waiheke wine tour. This allows us to provide a more personalised experience while maintaining the relaxed atmosphere of our shared tours.
Are the vineyards always the same?
Our itinerary may occasionally change due to seasonal opening hours, vineyard availability or special events. When necessary, we select an equivalent premium vineyard to ensure the quality of the experience remains consistent.
