The tour is approximately 5 hours, starting when you meet your local guide at
Matiatia Ferry Terminal on Waiheke Island and concluding at approximately 4:00 pm.
If travelling from downtown Auckland, please take either the 10:00 am Fullers360 ferry or the 10:15 am Island Direct ferry to Waiheke Island. Both services will get you to Matiatia Ferry Terminal in time to meet your guide.
Ferry tickets are not included in the tour price and need to be purchased separately.
We recommend booking your ferry in advance, particularly during weekends and the busy summer season.

beautiful Onetangi Beach, together with one glass of wine. Restaurant 372 offers a seasonal menu showcasing fresh, locally inspired ingredients.

Smart-casual, comfortable clothing is perfect for the day. We recommend comfortable footwear, as you will be visiting several vineyard properties. Waiheke weather can change quickly, so bringing an extra layer is always a good idea.
No. The Quintessential Wine Tour™ + Lunch is a relaxed experience, with comfortable transport provided between each destination. There may be some short walks and uneven surfaces at the vineyards.
Our itinerary may occasionally change due to vineyard availability, seasonal operations or special events. When required, we carefully select an alternative vineyard to ensure the quality of your experience remains exceptional.
Our shared wine tours are designed for adults and are not suitable for guests under 18. However, we would be happy to organise a private tour tailored to families travelling with children or teenagers.
